CP. Just what we want is an overcomplicated fat not-Corvette with a Northstar put in wrong and a proprietary suspension and rear brake lines that come in contact with the exhaust. Like most of the XLR’s owners, the XLR has trouble holding its fluids.

The top’s kind of famous for leaking hydraulic fluid and it’s such a retiree’s car that you know half of the owners wear depends.

I get that the interior is better, but you could get either a C6 or a final year C5 Z06 for less money and not be saddled with the Northstar.

There’s one near me with higher mileage for $20k, or you can double the crack in your pipe and go with a XLR-V for just a slice under $50k.

Personally I’d go SL500/550/ML55 in that range, but I never was a GM guy anyway.

I never noticed they recycled the corvette gauges in these. Cross flags and all. Typical GM cheapness
